Interior transformation of luxury watch store

Project Background

A luxury watch brand store located in Jamsil planned a new interior transformation to further enhance the brand's unique charm. In this process, the key role will be played by the lighting.

The store manager received detailed design drawings based on the floor plan allocated from the overseas headquarters, but it was not easy to find a domestic lighting interior company that could realize this.

Connection with Lumispace

After much research and word of mouth, the store established a connection with a company called 'LumiSpace'.

Lumispace is a company that has successfully carried out various commercial space lighting design projects for a long time both domestically and internationally, and has been recognized for its outstanding ability in lighting design and illuminance simulation. It was a company with the best ability to analyze English construction manuals and drawings, and to rearrange and adjust lighting fixtures in Korea.

Project Progress

The LumiSpace lighting team deeply analyzed the interior concept of the store and the drawings provided by the headquarters from the early stages of the project. They used advanced lighting simulation software to determine the illuminance, color temperature, and placement of the lighting. In this process, they meticulously planned and arranged the analysis and placement to predict how each light would function inside the store and to present luxury watches to customers in the best possible atmosphere.

Illuminance Simulation

In the lighting design process, Lumispace particularly focused on 'illuminance simulation'.

This is the process of visualizing the distribution, intensity, and color of light in the store before actual lighting installation in a virtual environment.

Through this, it was possible to optimize the impact of each light's position and intensity on the overall atmosphere of the store and the display of the watches.

Result

Finally, all the design and simulation work was completed, and the actual lighting installation took place.

After the construction was completed and the store reopened, the changed atmosphere immediately received positive responses from customers.

Each light was meticulously placed to make the clocks stand out even more, creating a luxurious and warm atmosphere throughout the store. Thanks to LumiSpace's delicate lighting design and illuminance simulation, the store now offers a completely different shopping experience for customers looking to purchase luxury watches.
