In 2004, it became clear that a new approach to indoor advertising was needed along with the expansion plans of Homeplus. In particular, a new way to capture the attention of customers using moving walkways was required.
The person in charge happened to come across the LED light frame from Lumi Space. This product, slim and visually warm, was the answer Homeplus had been looking for.
The collaboration with Lumispace began, and the results were amazing.
The slim light frame within 20mm was perfectly attached to the wall and ceiling of the moving walkway, capturing the attention of customers. The brightness of the LED light was enough to replace the moving walkway's illumination, and the frequency of advertisement exposure exceeded expectations.
The light frames installed at the checkout counter and moving walkway soon became a new symbol of Homeplus.
Customers were captivated by attractive advertisements while waiting for travel and calculations, obtaining product information, and feeling the desire to purchase. Homeplus recorded its highest sales ever that year.
The meeting of the responsible person and Lumispace was not just a coincidence,
It could be said to be inevitable.
